Current personal or leadership goals:

I am striving to be a champion of public education in North Carolina. In my current role, my goal is to help the North Carolina’s Public School be the best in the country. 

What advice would you give to current Leadership Charlotte participants? 

– Set lofty goals for yourself in your professional and personal lives
– Be open to new opportunities in your professional career
– Develop and maintain a strong set of values
– Take care of yourself
 

What would you like to see Leadership Charlotte alumni get involved in and why? 

I would like to see Leadership Charlotte alumni get involved in supporting and uplifting public education in North Carolina because a strong public education system is key to having North Carolina and its people thrive economically, culturally and socially.

Favorite way to spend a weekend in Charlotte: When I visit, I like to spend time with friends, visit cultural attractions, eat at my favorite restaurants from when I lived there and attend sporting events.

Favorite nonprofit or community organization in Charlotte and why: 

While I no longer live in Charlotte, I found that I really enjoyed attending various churches during my recent visits. I was enriched spiritually during those visits.
