Elizabeth McKee

Elizabeth McKee has led Leadership Charlotte since 2007 as Executive Director. She is a proud graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class 25. During her interim, she has guided and facilitated the organization’s programs for thousands of leaders. For the past nineteen years, she has worked as an educator and leader for non-profit organizations. As former Director of Leadership Initiatives at McColl School of Business, Queens University of Charlotte, NC, she developed and implemented leadership curriculum programs for both undergraduate studies and MBA programs.
She continues to develop her own leadership skills through travel and challenge. Elizabeth and her husband, William, trekked to Mount Everest Base Camp, in 2012, with Vertical, S.A. and summited Mount Kilimanjaro with them in September 2017.
A native of Lumberton, NC, Elizabeth received a B.A. from Elon University and an M.A. from Appalachian State University.

Diatra Fullwood

A graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class 40, Diatra Fullwood is the former Assistant General Manager at Bojangles Entertainment Complex. During her 25-year tenure with the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA), she helped to create memorable guests’ experiences at the Charlotte Coliseum (the original home of the Charlotte Hornets), Visit Charlotte, Bojangles Coliseum and Ovens Auditorium.
A native of Morganton, NC, Diatra received a B.A. from North Carolina State University. In her spare time, she is an active member of the Charlotte Garden Club and serves on the Board of Visitors at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.
She enjoys gardening, cooking and traveling.

Sarahanne Smith

Sarahanne Smith grew up in the small town of Waynesville, NC in the beautiful Appalachian mountains of North Carolina. On her way to earning a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from UNC-Asheville, she spent a year in Lausanne, Switzerland taking classes in both English and French. After relocating to Charlotte in 2018, she served in a variety of research and graduate assistant roles at UNC-Charlotte on her way to earning a Masters of Public Administration in the Summer of 2020. Most recently, she served as the Grants and Contracts Manager for The Salvation Army’s Divisional Social Services Department. In her free time, Sarahanne also enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with family and friends, taking care of her house plants, and going on long walks with her dog, Winnie. She is excited to be joining the Leadership Charlotte team.
