If you could describe your Leadership Charlotte experience in three words or phrases what would they be?  Connections, Community, Change

What advice would you give to current Leadership Charlotte participants? Immerse yourself in the experience; the more you do, the better it will be. Don’t try to do it halfway.

What would you like to see Leadership Charlotte alumni get involved in and why? There is so much opportunity in communities all over the country for leaders to step up to both drive and model change – a new way of living and being in this country together; appreciating and valuing all citizens equally. The time has never been better for Leadership Charlotte Alumni to make an impact.

Favorite nonprofit or community organization in Charlotte and why: I have lots of favorites so this is hard; in Leadership Charlotte I made a very personal connection to Classroom Central. The mission and impact of Classroom Central is so tangible – make sure children have the supplies they need for the classroom. It is a small brick in the foundation of impacting disparities.
